10/4 Announcements
- Elder Michael Ma has resumed his duty and rejoined the Session after his medical leave starting October. We praise the Lord for his healing and recovery, and we are thankful for many brothers’ and sisters’ persistent prayers.
- We plan to have on-site Baptism and Profession of Faith worship service on 12/20. Please contact Pastor Arthur Hsu if you’d like to be baptized or to become a member of GCC.
- We will have a missions week on 10/25–11/1. For CM, there will be an online missions conference on Friday evening, 10/30; speakers: Rev. Bia Chen, Rev. Tim Mountfort, and Rev. Ted Yuan. For EM, the online missions conference is on Sunday 2pm, 11/1; speakers: Alan & Ahna Leung, Alice Wang, and Rev. Ted Yuan. In addition, the sermon messages for CM (10/25) and EM (11/1), as well as the Wednesday evening prayer meeting (10/28) will be focused on the theme of missions. A special prayer guide will be sent out that week to help us pray for missionaries and missions organizations that our church supports.
- We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper next Sunday, 10/11. Additional outdoor seating with a TV will be set up near the back entrance of our church building to live stream the service, if the weather permits. If you plan to attend, please park near the back entrance, and also inform Wenling ahead of time (info@gccvapca.org).
- Weekly EM Fellowship/Sermon Discussion is on Sunday, 2–3pm over Zoom.
- Weekly Bible Study/Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday evenings, 7:30–9:30pm over Zoom online.
