  1. Welcome to Grace Christian Church! We are glad you can join us.
  2. Important changes to Children’s Worship in 2023: The combined children’s worship on the 3rd Sunday of the month is canceled. As a general principle, we encourage all children to join EM worship or CM worship with their parents. For children attending EM, CM parents are encouraged to worship with them in lieu of attending CM Sunday School. For parents who are not able to attend EM worship for whatever reasons, we asked them to ask another adult to supervise their child during EM worship. For younger children who are not able to stay for the entire EM worship, they are to attend the first part of EM worship until the pastoral prayer; they will be dismissed to attend Sunday School for the second hour.
  3. The 2023 GCC budget has been posted on the bulletin board as well as in the “Members” section at our church website (http://graceem.gccvapca.org/member-login/). If you have any questions, please contact Deacon Lixin Wang or our Elders.
  4. There will be a combined CM & EM worship service on 1/15 at 9:30am. It will be followed by a Congregational Meeting at 11:15am. The meeting subjects are: 2023 Budget Report & Election of Two Auditors.
  5. Praise the Lord that Beida Xie & Jason Zhang have accepted their nomination to be future deacons of GCC. They will be going through training in the future weeks. Please remember them & their families in your prayers. 
  6. Our Chinese New Year’s Celebration is on Friday, 1/20. Potluck dinner starts at 6:00pm and the “talent show” program begins at 7:30pm. Please contact Deacon Yang Wen (wenyangus@gmail.com) if you want to sign up for the program.
  7. Our monthly EM potluck dinner is today, 1/8, 5:30–8pm at Pastor Arthur’s home. We invite all to join and bring a dish. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>.
  8. Weekly Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday evenings, 8–9:30pm through Zoom. All are invited.
