4/23 Announcements
- Welcome to Grace Christian Church! We are glad you can join us.
- We are pleased to have Mr. Steve Hollidge as our guest preacher today.
- There will be an evangelism training (part 2) led by Rev. Ted Yuan today, 4/23 at 1:30pm. Mandarin only. We encourage all who can to attend.
- There will be a GCC Youth Spring Hiking Trip on 4/29 from 1–4pm; location: Riverbend Park on the Potomac Heritage Trail; all are invited. Please sign up by Friday, 4/28 at http://evite.me/Nbgtba25d5
- Our Annual Church Spring Cleaning is on Saturday, 5/13 at 10am. Please come to serve together. There will be time for lunch & fellowship afterward (lunch is provided).
- The Youth Ministry is planning for a Summer Youth Mission Trip at Fairmont, WV on 6/17–6/24. To assist with the financial needs of the trip, please participate the following fundraising activities: Bake Sale on Sundays 5/7, 5/14 & 5/21 from 10:45–11:10am at Fellowship Hall; the Fundraising Car Wash is on Saturday, 5/13 at 10pm; and T-Shirt Sale (more information to come).
- GCC will hold our church retreat on 5/27–5/29 (Memorial Day Weekend) at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia. The EM speaker is Rev. Nathan Boyette, and the theme is “Philippians: Joyful Submission”; the CM speaker is Rev. Grant Chen, and the theme is “Repentance & Revival.”
- GCC Summer Bible Camp (for rising 1st–6th-graders) is on 7/31–8/4; half-day-camp is from 9am–12pm, and full-day-camp is from 9am–4pm. Registration fee for half-day-camp is $10, and full-day is $20. Registration begins on Monday, 4/23; please go to: https://forms.gle/xqhMbfkYKGoNZ9SE7. We also need volunteers to help; if you are interested, please contact Harriet Lin (hjlintx@gmail.com).
- Our next EM potluck dinner is on Sunday, 5/7, 5:30–8pm at Nancy Chen’s home. We invite all to join and bring a dish. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>.
- Weekly Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday evenings, 8–9:30pm through Zoom.
