  1. Our Chinese New Year’s Celebration is on Saturday, 2/21. Potluck dinner starts at 6:00pm and the program begins at 7:30pm. Please join and invite others to participate.
  2. Our church will be holding a farewell party for Pastor & Mrs. Wang on 3/8 (Sunday afternoon). We invite all to join. If you have any memorable photos, please feel free to provide them to the church office.
  3. We plan to have our Youth Mission Trip to New Taipei City, Taiwan on 7/6–7/10. We are partnering with local churches to teach Vacation Bible School (VBS), sharing the Gospel with children & their families. Application is open until 2/27; all applicants will be interviewed and evaluated by the GCC Youth Leadership Team, &acceptance may also be subject to team size limits.   4. We plan to have our church retreat on 5/23–5/25 (Saturday to Monday) at Shepherd University. The EM speaker is Rev. Porter Harlow, senior pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church (Burke). The CM speaker is Rev. Vincent Yu, pastor of Peoria Chinese Church. Registration is open; forms are available at the church office.
  5. GCC is partnering with Greater Washington DC Short Term Mission & several local Chinese churches to hold an evangelism/outreach activity called “Easter Joyful Celebration” on Saturday, 4/4, 10am–3pm, at CCCVA’s new location (541 Marshall Road SW, Vienna). Event includes: Gospel booth games, health & wellness activities, group games, Easter egg hunt, & prayer lounge. Free lunch & raffle at 11:30am. Please invite family & friends to attend.   6. Eggs and Beyond Charities, which provided free tax filing services to low-income families at the church last year, will continue to offer this service this year. They are also willing to help train volunteers—volunteers will need to pass two basic tests. If you are interested in participating in this community activity & would like to know more, please contact Wenling.
  7. Weekly EM Bible Fellowship & Prayer is on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm on site. All are invited. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>.
  8. Our next EM potluck dinner is on Sunday, 3/1, 5:30–8pm at Elder Eric’s home. We invite all to join and bring a dish. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur.
