5/12 Announcements
- Welcome to Grace Christian Church! We are glad you can join us.
- GCC is planning for two Summer Mission Trips, one to
Fairmont, WV on 6/15–6/22 (with 28 team members) and the other to Taiwan on
7/28–8/4 (with 7 team members); please keep them in your prayers. Our
church’s mission fund will provide for 1/3 of the cost; the participating
individuals are responsible for 1/3 of the cost; the remaining 1/3 is needed
through fundraising; the overall fundraising goal is approximately
$10,310. To assist with the financial needs of the trip, please
participate the Fundraising Bake Sale throughout the month of
May on Sundays during lunch time. We are also collecting a special
offering. If you’d like to contribute, please write your check to
“GCC” and note “WV/Taiwan 2024”.
- We plan to have our church retreat on 7/5–7/7 at Eastern Mennonite
University, Harrisonburg, VA. The EM speaker is Rev. Frank Wang,
Associate Pastor of Potomac Hills Presbyterian Church, Leesburg, VA; the theme
is “Colossians: The Preeminence of Christ.” The CM speaker is Rev. Steven Lee,
Pastor of Cherry Hill Chinese Church, Cherry Hill, NJ; and the theme is
“Spiritual Discipline.” Registration now open; forms are available at the church
office.
- GCC Summer Bible Camp (for rising kindergarteners
to rising 6th graders) is on 7/22–7/26. Registration fee for
half-day-camp is $15, and full-day is $25. For more information and

also need volunteers to help; if you are interested, please contact Harriet Lin

- Weekly EM Bible Fellowship & Prayer is on Tuesday evenings at
7:30pm on site.All are invited. For more information, please
contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>.
- Our next EM potluck dinner is on Sunday, 6/2,
5:30–8pm. Please mark your calendar.
