  1. GCC Youth Group Welcome Night is on Sunday, 9/8, 5:30–8pm at Elder Eric’s home. We would like to start the year gathering together with all the youth parents to discuss our plans for the fall. This is the same date, time, and location for the September EM potluck dinner. We will set aside some time after dinner to address all the youth parents. We invite all youth & parents to join and bring a dish for potluck dinner. We will also discuss the youth ministry plans for the fall and set the tone for the year. NOTE: Regular Friday night Youth Group begins on 9/13. 
  2. We plan to have a Baptism & Profession of Faith worship service on Sunday, 9/22. Classes continue today at 12:45pm in Room 5.
  3. Our Church-wide Fall Picnic is on Saturday, 9/28, 10am-1:30pm ; there will also be a 3k (~2miles) run/walk competition. Please mark your calendar.
  4. Rev. Min-Ho Liu will host a Gospel Rally at GCC on Saturday, 9/14, 7:30–9:30pm. The theme is“Overcoming Addiction, Gaining Freedom.” This is a Mandarin only event. Please invite non-Christian Chinese speaking friends to join and keep this in your prayers.
  5. Chinese Christian Church of Virginia (CCCVA) will hold a seminar called “One Generation to the Next” on 9/20 (Friday 7:30-9:00pm) and 9/21 (Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm). Come to be encouraged and trained on bringing up children of God. Lisa Updike, Director of Children’s Ministry at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Harrisonburg, VA. All parents, grandparents, and children/youth ministry workers are welcome. Registration has begun, please see the attached for more information.
  6. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper next Sunday, 9/8.
  7. Weekly EM Bible Fellowship & Prayer is on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm on site.All are invited. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>.
