3/2 Announcements
- There will be a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, 3/30 at
11:15am. The meeting subject is Election of Church Officer. Our deacon
candidate Solomon Zhang has been going through training since January. Please
remember him & his family in your prayers.
- We plan to
have a Baptism & Profession of Faith worship service on Easter
Sunday, 4/20. Please contact Pastor Arthur if you’d like to be
baptized or to become a member.
- We plan to have our church retreat on 7/4–7/6 (Fri-Sun) at Shepherd
University (170 West Campus drive, Shepherdstown, WV 25443; about 1.25
hour from GCC). The EM speaker is Rev. Tim Carroll, pastor of CCCVA. The CM
speaker is Rev. Toon Yeo. Registration will be forthcoming. Please
mark your calendar and plan to join.
- We plan to have our Youth Mission Trip to New Taipei City, Taiwan
on 7/13–7/18. We are partnering with local church(es) to teach
Vacation Bible School (VBS), sharing the Gospel with children and their
families. Application is open; all applicants will be interviewed and
evaluated by the GCC Youth Leadership Team, and acceptance may also be subject

- CCCVA is hosting a seminar called “A Praying Life: Learning to Pray
in a Distracting World” hosted by Keith Grant, former pastor of
Riverside Community Church, on Friday 3/28, 7:30–9:30pm & Saturday
3/29, 8–12:45pm. Registration is $20; childcare of children aged 3–11 is
provided; fees include lunch on Saturday and required materials. We

- We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper next Sunday, 3/9.
- Our weekly EM Bible Fellowship & Prayer is on Wednesday evenings
