  1. We are pleased to have Mr. Steve Hollidge as our guest preacher today. 
  2. The GCC Youth Group is planning for an end-of-year graduation celebration on Saturday, 6/7 at 5pm; location: Moorefield Station Community Park in Ashburn. All parents & youth are encouraged to join. For more information, please contact Evan Garnier (evan.m.garnier@gmail.com).
  3. GCC is planning a Youth Mission Trip to New Taipei City, Taiwan on 7/13–7/18 (with 15 team members). Our church’s mission fund will provide for 1/3 of the cost; the participating individuals are responsible for 1/3; the remaining 1/3 is needed through fundraising (the fundraising goal is $11,000, & the current amount of offering & fundraising received is $8,111). To assist with the financial needs of the trip, please participate: Bake Sale resumes next Sunday, 6/1 during lunch time (no Bake Sale today, 5/25); Community Yard Sale is on Saturday 5/31, 9am-12pm. If you would like to donate your items, please drop them off at the church lobby. Please bring any items clean & in good condition, & large items please save to drop off the day of the event (at 8:30am). For more details, contact Evan Garnier at evan.m.garnier@gmail.com. We are also collecting a special offering. If you’d like to contribute, please write your check to “GCC” & note “Taiwan 2025”. 
  4. We plan to have our church retreat on 7/4–7/6 (Fri–Sun) at Shepherd University (170 West Campus drive, Shepherdstown, WV 25443; about 1.25 hour from GCC). The EM speaker is Rev. Tim Carroll, pastor of CCCVA; the theme is “Prayer: The Heart of Christian Spirituality”. The CM speaker is Rev. Toon Yeo; the theme is “Spiritual Care & Counseling.” We encourage all to participate & register as soon as possible for planning purposes. Forms are available at the church office.
  5. GCC Summer Bible Camp (for rising kindergarteners to rising 6th graders) is on 8/4–8/8. This year’s theme is “Upward Bound.” Registration fee for half-day-camp is $15, and full-day is $30.   6. Mark Guo, a seminary student from Puritan Theological Seminary, will be our church’s summer intern from 6/6 to 7/28. Please pray for him and his family.
  7. Weekly EM Bible Fellowship & Prayer is on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm on site. All are invited. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>. 
  8. Our next EM potluck dinner is Sunday, 6/1, 5:30–8pm at Nancy Chen’s home. We invite all to join & bring a dish. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur.
