  1. Welcome to Grace Christian Church! We are glad you can join us.
  2. GCC Summer Bible Camp is on 8/4–8/8. This year’s theme is “Upward Bound.” We need volunteers to help; if you are interested, please contact Harriet Lin (hjlintx@gmail.com). Please note that CM volunteer’s training is today, 7/27, 12:45-1:30 pm in Room 10.
  3. This summer our church will partner with Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM) to hold a backpack drive to support students from low-income families at Virginia Run Elementary School. Backpacks must be brand new, sturdy, & contain a computer sleeve; the approximate cost should be $40. This is meant to be a family event. Parents may choose to bring in purchased backpacks and encourage your children to save their allowance & contribute to the backpack funds. The drive ends on Thursday, 8/7.
  4. Our summer pastoral intern Mark Guo has completed his internship at GCC. He, his wife Shengjie, & their two sons (Lucus & Tom) will return to Grand Rapids, Michigan next week to attend classes in seminary. Lucus will also start college this fall; please pray for their family and his study & ministry.
  5. Pastor Wang is on a six-month sabbatical from July to December. He & Mrs. Wang are currently serving in Asia. Please keep them in your prayers. Please also pray that God will guide and bless Pastor Wang in his future ministry direction.
  6. There will be no EM Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship in the remainder of July. It will resume on Wednesday, 8/6.
  7. Our next EM potluck dinner is on Sunday, 8/3/2025, 5:30–8pm at Nancy Chen’s home. We invite all to join & bring a dish. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>.
