  1. We are pleased to have Mr. Daniel Hong as our guest preacher today.
  2. There will be a congregational meeting at 10:50am on 3/29 before the EM worship service. The meeting subjects are: election of a new deacon, Benquan Wang; election of the senior pastor search committee; and 2025 finance audit report. Pending on the election result, a special worship service for the ordination of the new deacon will be in the afternoon of 3/29 at 1:30pm; please plan to attend.
  3. There will be a combined CM & EM Good Friday Worship Service on 4/3 at 7:30pm; we will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Please plan to attend.
  4. We plan to have a Baptism worship service on Easter Sunday, 4/5; we also officially welcome & receive new members on that day. 
  5. The Brothers’ Fellowship & Timothy Fellowship will have a combined gathering at the church on 4/18 (Saturday) from 10:00am to 12:00pm. We will work on the front lawn of the church together; there will also be a movie & barbecue for lunch. We invite all to join. 
  6. We plan to have our church retreat on 5/23–5/25 (Saturday to Monday) at Shepherd University, WV. The EM speaker is Rev. Porter Harlow, senior pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church (Burke); the theme is “The Kingdom of God in the World.” The CM speaker is Rev. Vincent Yu, pastor of Peoria Chinese Church; the theme is “Die & Rise Again with Christ Every Day.” Registration is open; forms are available at the office.
  7. GCC is partnering with Greater Washington DC Short Term Mission & several local Chinese churches to hold an evangelism/outreach activity called “Easter Joyful Celebration” on Saturday, 4/4, 10am–3pm, at CCCVA’s new location (541 Marshall Road SW, Vienna). Event includes: Gospel booth games, health & wellness activities, group games, Easter egg hunt, & prayer lounge. Free lunch & raffle at 11:30am. Please invite family & friends to attend and register by filling out the online form which you get to by scanning the QR code on flyer posted on church bulletin board.
  8. Weekly EM Bible Fellowship & Prayer is on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm through Zoom. please contact Pastor Arthur for more information.
  9. Our next EM potluck dinner is on Sunday, 4/12, 5:30–8pm at Deacon Ni Feng’s home. We invite all to join and bring a dish. For more information, please contact Pastor Arthur <graphitude@gmail.com>. Please mark your calendar.
