- Mark your calendar for the Summer Bible Camp volunteer’s training:
Today—Youth volunteer’s training (mandatory); Room 9; 12:30–1:45pm 7/28—Adult volunteer’s training; Room 9; 12:30–1:15pm - This summer our church is partnering with Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM) to hold a backpack drive to support students from low-income families at Westfield High School. The backpacks must be brand new, sturdy, and contain a computer sleeve; the approximate cost for each backpack is $25–$35. You may choose to bring in purchased backpacks or encourage your kids to save their allowance and contribute to the backpack funds. The drive will last until 8/11.
- There will be a Cherokee Short-term Mission Trip Potluck celebration on Friday 7/26 for mission trip participants and their families. Everyone is asked to bring a dish
or dessert to share. - Our weekly Bible study/prayer meeting is on Wednesday evenings 7:30–9:30pm at Mr. Arthur’s home. We encourage brothers and sisters to join. Please contact him for more information (graphitude@gmail.com).
